News: The 7th edition of the Air Force Arjan Singh Memorial Hockey Tournament 2026 is being held in Bengaluru from 23 June to 3 July 2026.
About Air Force Arjan Singh Memorial Hockey Tournament 2026
- It is a hockey tournament organized to honour the legacy of Marshal of the Air Force Arjan Singh and his passion for the sport.
- Organized by: The tournament has been organized by the Air Force Sports Control Board (AFSCB) since 2018.
- 2026 Edition: The 2026 event is the 7th edition of the tournament.
- Venue: The tournament is being held at Air Force Station Jalahalli, Bengaluru.
- Participants: A total of 16 teams from across the country are participating in the tournament.
- Foreign Team Status: No foreign teams are participating in this edition due to the ongoing crisis in the Middle East.
- Format: The matches are being conducted on a league-cum-knockout basis.
- Prize Pool: The winning team will receive ₹10 lakh and the runners-up will receive ₹8 lakh.
- The Man of the Match in each game will receive ₹25,000, while the Player of the Tournament will receive ₹50,000.
