About Bardia National Park
- Bardia National Park is the largest and most undisturbed national park in Nepal’s Terai, established in 1988.
- Location: The park is located in Bardiya District of Nepal’s Terai.
- Major River: The Karnali River forms the park’s eastern boundary, and the Babai River flows through the park.
- Protected Landscape: Bardia National Park adjoins Banke National Park and together they form the Bardia-Banke Tiger Conservation Unit.
- Wildlife Connectivity: The park supports cross-border wildlife movement between Nepal and India through the Western Terai Complex.
- Conservation Importance: The park promotes wildlife conservation, ecotourism, and local livelihoods while protecting Nepal’s natural heritage.
