About Koldam Hydro Power Project

- The Koldam Hydro Power Project is an 800 MW hydroelectric station located in the Bilaspur and Mandi districts of Himachal Pradesh, India.
- River associated: It is built on the Satluj River.
- Owned by: It is developed and owned by NTPC Limited.
- Dam Type: It is a 163-meter-high rock and gravel fill dam with a clay core.
- Beneficiary Regions: Supplies power to northern states including Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Delhi, and Uttar Pradesh.
