About Larak Island
- Larak Island is a small island near the Strait of Hormuz with major strategic importance due to its location.
- Location: It is approximately 45 km southeast of Bandar Abbas, south of Hormuz Island and about 18 km southeast of the eastern end of Qeshm Island.
- Area: The island covers roughly 49 sq. km.
- Key Features:
- Strategic location: Larak, Qeshm and Hormuz form a group of three islands near the entrance to the Strait of Hormuz.
