News: U.S.A government under President Donald Trump has begun the process of renewing a right-of-way agreement that would allow the Trans Alaska Pipeline System near Galbraith lake to operate for another 30 years.
About Galbraith Lake

- Location: Galbraith Lake is a lake located in the North Slope Borough of Alaska, U.S.A.
- Naming: It was named in 1951 after Bart Galbraith, a bush pilot who died in a 1950 plane crash.
- Formation: It was formed by glaciers, and is known to contain lake trout, burbot and grayling fish, with some reports of Arctic char.
- Size: It is approximately 3.6 miles (5.8 km) long.
- Climate: It has a cold subarctic climate, close to a tundra climate.
- Galbraith Lake Airport and Pump Station 4 of the Trans-Alaska Pipeline System are also located in the area.
- A campground is also located near the lake.
