About UPSC CSE Prelims 2021
UPSC Prelims examination is a screening test of the candidates to appear in the UPSC CSE prelims 2021 question paper GS paper 1Civil Services Mains Examination. It consists of 2 compulsory Papers that are conducted on the same day in two sessions in offline mode. UPSC CSE Prelims 2021 Paper 1 or GS Paper has just been conducted. Now in the 2nd session Prelims paper, 2 or CSAT Paper will be conducted.
- Both papers of UPSC CSE Prelims exam are objective type in nature.
- Each paper will be of 2 hours duration and 200 marks.
- The marks obtained in General Studies Paper – I of the UPSC IAS Exam alone are considered in deciding the cut-off and selecting candidates for the UPSC CSE Mains Exam.
