News: SHE-LEAPS was launched on June 29, 2026, during the Rashtriya Gramin Vikas Sammelan in New Delhi to support rural women entrepreneurs.
About SHE-LEAPS Platform
- Full form: SHE-LEAPS stands for ‘Self-Help Entrepreneur-Livelihoods and Enterprise Application for Prosperity and Sustainability’.
- It is a digital platform that empowers Self-Help Group women through enterprise creation, livelihood support, and performance tracking.
- Developed by: The SHE-LEAPS mobile application has been developed by the Digital India Corporation.
- Implemented under: The platform is implemented under the LokOS platform, which digitizes the activities of community-based organisations (operated under Ministry of Rural Development).
- Reach: SHE-LEAPS will be implemented across 34 States and Union Territories.
- Aim: The platform aims to empower rural SHG women, strengthen women-led enterprises, improve financial inclusion, integrate rural producers with formal value chains, and promote data-driven rural entrepreneurship.

- Unified Digital Support: The platform supports both farm and non-farm enterprises through enterprise creation and performance tracking.
- Real-Time Monitoring: It captures real-time enterprise data and tracks the complete livelihood journey from profile creation to enterprise performance.
- Better Governance: It strengthens digital monitoring, improves planning, and supports informed policy decisions through better data.
- Support for Lakhpati Didi Mission: It provides end-to-end tracking of income growth and enterprise performance to strengthen the Lakhpati Didi mission.
