Dear Aspirants,
The Daily Prelims Marathon is the focussed program for the static part of the UPSC IAS Prelims examination.
Our plan will include about 10 Daily MCQs for all 7 days of the week. The questions would be published in the morning every day around 11 AM, based on the schedule given in the PDF below.
Prelims Marathon Quiz Schedule for 2024 Prelims
The idea is to keep the number of MCQs to a practicable level so that you do not spend an extra minute than required and has a maximum output for the UPSC Prelims Exam.
Note: Questions can also be asked from the static parts of the current affairs.
For the current Affairs part, we are already running another Initiative with the name of 10 PM MCQs. This initiative is totally focussed on daily current affairs.
All the Best! Start practicing from today.
For Mains Preparation: we have Mains Marathon Initiative.

Great! ..will we have month wise compilations of these quizzes?
Thank you.
is it for online students also?
Yes Arushi.
Thanks
plz clarify …. u give quiz compilation. …. ? or not ……
plz reply …. Thank you
Obvio…
I think they will be posting questions online only , just go for it 🙂
Thanks… Online tests are very convenient
They have a coaching in Delhi?
I wanted to join as I’m planning to come to Delhi…
Yup online tests are convenient but can’t match that environment of test when u give it among 100s of students sitting around u. But it okay , itna chalega .
Yup in old rajinder nagar I guess , forum IAS has a test centre , I don’t know whether they teach or not but test series is being conducted by them offline for sure .
I need a Pg there but I don’t know whom to contact or find out. I need some guidance for this exam
Can u suggest me anything?
You won’t have any issue in finding PG , there are so many brokers , hoardings , they themselves will catch u , no worries . Just choose wisely
Never been to Delhi and don’t know anyone… But I’ll try
Don’t think much Arushi , just think about upsc , Delhi is large enough though congested to accommodate u 😉 , and its natural u’ll face prob since u have never been to Delhi earlier. But it’s worth facing those prob. If u are a serious aspirant , which I guess u r then these things will make you strong . Good luck
Please specify what kind of prob you’re facing since u have already given two attempts , u must be having good knowledge of sources strategy and all
I took those attempts without any guidance/coaching and under family pressure for hurry when I was half prepared (started in 2016)
I just need some proper guidance for this year on how to go about it.
I would suggest you to do few things :
1. Go thorugh few toppers interviews , it will boost your confidence like this year 26 rank Mallika mam , it was her fourth attempt also first time she cracked prelims. There are many other as well, have a look
2. Go through few websites like forumias insights iasbaba prescribed strategy . Read patiently give some time .
3 . Do self introspection why I have failed in earlier attempts.
4. Make your own plan finally after considering your level your preparation.
5. Have a belief in yourself , join good test series for prelims , follow it religiously.
There are n no . Of things , better will be if u plan things after self introspection .
Last word – study hard , whether u go to Delhi or not doesn’t matter much , what matter is you determination and hard work not any coaching or a place though definitely they will guide you .
i would lyk to answer dis question plz follow ny gud o9 forum lyk insightindia or iasbaba… or ny othr …….I had appeared for intrvw dat’s y m telling u..be motivated n thank u.!!
Are you going to live there alone or some frnds are accompanying you?
Alone..
Try flat and flatmates page in fb.. may be u will find a suitable partner.. where u from?
Lko.
Okay I’ll do that… Hopefully I get a one seated Pg… As that’s what I am looking for.
i m sure u will find it there… but acquainted persons are better to deal with
Hey Arushi, better to live in areas such as north campus –
Kamla Nagar, BD Estate, GTB nagar (PG system proper types), Lajpat nagar, Green Park etc Metro connectivity is good and safety matters. Most places will offer flat sharing otherwise (south delhi) and it will take some effort (going and examining personally) to ascertain the quality of locality, nature of landlord, additional expenses and proximity to metro. Keep these factors in mind and go for flat system with flatmates if you cant find PG.
Hey
Firstly, thank you SO much for taking out time to inform me, i think this is the first kind of genuine, ground-level picture of how things really are, otherwise rajinder nagar equates to delhi when u talk of pg for upsc.
honestly, i have never been to delhi, so I have no idea about the places u are talking about. Though I checked with some brokers, one of them from karol bagh, and it is -damn expensive- (10K per month EXCLUDING food and electricity)
I will make a note of these locations and check it out with brokers without wasting much time. Hopefully I find a flatmate on a sharing basis without wasting much of my time because padhai kab karenge yaar, if it is going to take so much effort.
Hey Arushi,
You are welcome. I havent stayed in Rajinder Nagar, Karol Bagh side but its damn congested. Overall rents are on the higher end only. North Campus is the area around Vishvawidyalaya metro.
PS – Dont worry, you will find a place to stay lekin waha 1-2 din jaake dekhna best hoga. Delhi is a pretty nice city actually. Inbox me if you need any help.
thanks for the info… i will check out north campus then
Would you like to get in touch for economics optional? cant seem to find enough people
Sure
Okay great
My id is tsukiupsc@gmail.com
Check gmail 🙂
do u have any number of brokers?
hey Arushi, i dont have broker contacts. sorry for the late reply
Is the page reliable?
yup.. prelims point of view its reliable.. however do make ur own newspaper notes and revise them 3 times before prelims.. and for mains u can visit forum as well as insights. ur preference
I was talking about the fb page flats and flatmates is that Reliable
Flats and flatmates in delhi area dhundhna… Wo reliable hai
? haa reliable hai
??
When did you complete ur graduation?
Forum doesnt have ogfline classes i guess… And i would say to see mrunal and unacademy.. that is enough but seeing the accuracy u must revise a book or notes atkeast 5 times.. the more the merrier.
Thanks 🙂
I’m new to this forum
Forum or in this field of upsc or both 🙂 Just asking ?
To both… And old in uosc in the sense that I’ve taken two attempts
Haha then you’re my senior 🙂 .l
Thank You Sir !!
great….
Where can i find them?
Where will i find the question. Please provide specific link.
from where i could find them?
Sir, Why isn’t there any section on current affairs as it has come to the fore in recent years in both number of questions as well as difficulty level going up?
I’m unable to find questions
help please !
