i dont think anti national or anti social persons should be give right to life as they are a threat to the right to life of whole country.
When a criminal is in jail criticise police when not then also criticise police.

police is not being criticized, its is the system and its policies which is being criticized. If the prisons are overburdened, is that a fault of police? No, thats an infrastructure problem which has to be solved by state.
And every person whether national, alien or anti-national have right to life. Being anti national is very subjective. One might be anti-national acc to you and might not be acc to me. And even if one is anti-national, doesnt means they should not be treated equal. If u treat them unequally, then the whole purpose of Equal society is defeated.

i appreciate your views ……but its also their duty not to harm others and nation .why should we defend them when they are posing threats to the lives of others?

Coz this is what a civilized nation do, also we live in a democracy. Why should we call ourself democracy if we too we start killing others just to satisfy our egos or to take revenge, it would be called tyranny.

I acknowledge ur views brother. Why should we defend them when they are posing threats to the lives of others? Coz everyone in society do not get the same treatment from childhood, and so does their views mould. For you, buying clothes on diwali would be normal, but for someone even stealing clothes on festivals is not bad. Its just that they cant buy, but all have same desires like u. i am not saying that what they do is right, but everyone should be given a chance to improve and be a part of society until we can do that. Taking life of others should not be in human’s hand.
People/children who come from middle class vs poor class vs elite class, all have different mind set, so we should keep that in mind also.
This guy discussed in article is handicapped, he is behind bars, he is crippled. Atleast we should respect his right to dignity, coz without dignity, there is no life.

You may differ, thanks brother 🙂

That was a nice thinking but this man though being a handicapped was a professor and he has a clear knowledge of what is wrong and what is right….if an educated person who is also responsible for the future of coming generation do such a crime he must be hanged……

i agree with your views regarding different circumstances but tell me how would you justify his case ?
thanks for the discussion, correcting me and adding to my knowledge

He is paying for his bad deeds as he is behind bars. If his crime is severe, he should always be behind bars. But death penalty is never a solution.
He was an educated person but still he did this, doesn’t means that he should be killed then. Instead of that, he should be given a chance to improve(by completing his prison term which the court have given to him) so that he can be a part of the society when he comes out. This is the beauty of humanistic society that we should always look forward by taking reforms, and move away from backward looking notion(death penalty) which have no good impact on human life.
Always go for mitigation(what policies to make so that crime can be ignored) rather than adaptation( kill people who do bad). Our aim should be to avoid crimes and not kill people who indulge in crime due to any avoidable/unavoidable circumstance.

It’s alright if you think death penalty is justifiable. Every person has a right to form his own opinion, and even if you think so, you’re not wrong. Only your view is different from mine.

Thank you too for listening to me brother. It was nice to discuss things with you.
